didn't realize it had been so long since i blogged. :0

well, our trip to SA was FANTASTIC! :) we had

a blast AND the spurs won!! soooo all went well.

we did have a little excitement on the trip home

when daniela threw up all over herself & the yukon...

but fortunately we were near a gas station & family

dollar...so a little clean up from mommy & some

febreze that daddy bought at the family $ and we

were good to go. :)

well, it's not too cold here....not as bad as they had originally

predicted anyway. but we still decided not to do an egg hunt this year.

tis the season

for tamales....falalalalalalalala!!!
Lica & i have successfully spread &
rolled 11 1/2 dozen tamales....139 to
be exact. ;) we've got at least that
many left to do, but we'll only finish
up the masa i made today. then tomorrow
i'll make another batch of masa to make
the rest. whew!!

then on saturday my MIL & SIL are
coming over to help us make MORE!
2 more pork roasts worth....so depending
on their size we could have another 24 dozen!!

okay, back at it....hope to finish rolling before
the cowboys play. i can't do anything but watch
the game or it drives me CRAZY! :)

yep. that's right. our house is starting

to take on it's holiday appearance. the

trees are up & decorated...some of our

other decorations are up...and we just

have a few things left to finish it off. :)

i looooove christmas time!!! :)

another manic monday?

okay...not even close!! today was a pretty
laid back day for me. i came home from
work early becuz i've been sick. then i slept
all afternoon. now THAT's a good monday! ;)

my new boss called me today to finalize some
paperwork. i can't wait to start....only 1 week
from today! :)

i had to get groceries tonite & we bought
all the stuff to make homemade tamales
with this week!!! woohoo!! it's always such
a pain, but so worth it in the end! i hope to
start the roasts on wednesday & then start
making the tamales on thursday. i'm sure
i won't finish until the weekend....so thursday
thru saturday are pretty much tamale making
days!

my knees & legs & feet & lower back
are killing me, but i had a lot of fun
working @ CKC yesterday! the lady
that i was working for liked me SOOOOO
much that she wanted to hire me to
come on the road with her all the time!
i brushed it off & said i would if i didn't
have 3 kids....blah, blah, blah. but, jesse
said i should call her back & at least find
out the details.

i don't know. i just don't want to miss my
kids growing up...you know? of course,
i don't know how often they're on the road....
maybe it's not that bad, not really sure....but
i think they travel to a lot of conventions &
stuff to sell products. hmmmm...i guess
maybe i'll ask what all is involved. i'm not
trying to toot my own horn here, but i'm telling
you she was IMPRESSED! she even told the main
guy overseeing everything that she wants me
next year! so, i don't know...we shall see.....

so, daniela is still sick...poor baby! she doesn't
act sick anymore, but every time she tries to
eat it comes back up! i see another doctor's visit
in her near future...i just hope that can give her
something to make her well.... the doctor said
she wasn't concerned with her not eating...well,
that's fine, but for HOW LONG? it's been almost
a week since she's kept ANY food down. that's
a long time for someone to go without food.

so, so sad

:( we're back home from chicago. :(

and sleep in my own bed...but i sure

do miss the fun we had! ;)

*the EAGLES have landed!*

oh yeah! i love me some EAGLES &
last nite was a DREAM come true!!

my 1st concert to EVER go to & it
was to see the legendary, the iconic,
the one, the only....EAGLES!!! :)

wow! what a nite! they are working
on a new album that will be released
(hopefully) this fall!! WOOHOO!!! can't
wait to get that!

this was only their 2nd concert since
last september & let me tell you...they
STILL got it! they sound just as good
today as they always have! it's incredible
actually! they ROCK!!!!!! :)

what a fun day!

we got to spend the day with shannon &
her family at the zoo! she is from Indiana
& we met on www.scrap-a-latte.net ....come
to find out she has family here in AR, so
we were able to meet up. we took tons
of pics & the weather was perfect for our
little outing. can't wait to see her again at
cha in july!
