sad sunday

i'm so freakin' depressed right now.
if you heard the final score of the game,
you know why. i somehow knew this
was going to happen....i usually do know
when they're gonna lose....but i didn't
want to give up hope.

well, there's always next year, right?
isn't that what everyone says?

i know it's just a game....but man this
SUCKS!!!

i'm playing double-duty today by
incorporating some challenges in the
scrap-a-latte crop into my layouts
for unity stamp company. the only
challenges i haven't been able to do
are the ones that involve sketches since
these need to be my own work.

so, here's the run down of the stamps.

layout#1- this set comes with 5 stamps-
various tree shapes & the word *giggle.
so cute & soooo ME!!

layout #2- i used all but one of the stamps
in this set & it is sooo perfect for coffee,
cappuccino, mocha latte, etc. lovers!!
don't think you can make it "fit" with your
pics? do what i did & make your journaling
tie in the stamps!! it's fun!! :)

layout #3- this flower stamp is from the same
set that has the "little princess", scallop, and
castle in it. to add a little pop of texture here &
there, i used a stamp & stick glue pad to add
some fun flock! :)

so, this has turned out to be a FUN scrappy
day!! hope to scrap more tomorrow as i'm
working on a very tight schedule to get these
layouts mailed off to angela. :)

07 NFC EAST CHAMPIONS!!!!!

The Cowboys won the NFC EAST
division today by defeating the
Detroit Lions!!! It was a horrible
game for the big D, but the last
2 minutes were both heart-stopping
AND fan-freakin-tastic!!!! WOOHOO!!!!

tis the season

for tamales....falalalalalalalala!!!
Lica & i have successfully spread &
rolled 11 1/2 dozen tamales....139 to
be exact. ;) we've got at least that
many left to do, but we'll only finish
up the masa i made today. then tomorrow
i'll make another batch of masa to make
the rest. whew!!

then on saturday my MIL & SIL are
coming over to help us make MORE!
2 more pork roasts worth....so depending
on their size we could have another 24 dozen!!

okay, back at it....hope to finish rolling before
the cowboys play. i can't do anything but watch
the game or it drives me CRAZY! :)

WOOHOO! The Cowboys won
again today!! My heart stopped
a couple of times, becuz I thought
we were gonna screw it up & lose
to the redskins. But thankfully,
that didn't happen! :)

this will be a busy week at lane
bryant, especially friday. yIkeS!
but that's okay, becuz only 10 days
left of this job & then I'm back in
an office!! :) :) :)

what a year, huh? crazy things have
happened & after being in a
single job for 7 years, I'm about to
start my THIRD job THIS year!!
*gasp*

life just twists & turns, doesn't it?
but i guess that's what keeps it
interesting & keeps us talking. :)

that's right. the cowboys' record so
far this season is 8-1. the only team
that has beat us is the undefeated
patriots. makes me sooooo happy that
we are having such a FANTASTIC season!!

well, i guess i better go get some sleep. i leave
for work in less than 12 hours. :( it sure has been
nice these past few days off after working so
much lately. now i know why i never worked
in retail before. it sucks! but, it could be
worse....i could have no job. so, i'll try to
look on the bright side- i'm keeping my
kids secure in their home!! 'night!
